Users of the iPad can easily switch to any other tablet. That is, if we have to believe the numbers. The study is based on readers of the Business Insider, and it shows that users spend to most time with the Safari browser; 36 percent in May 2011.
The study also shows that the iPad is mainly used for social media and e-mail; with almost 23 percent of the time spend on these points. These applications can easily be taken over by the browser. Other apps are even less popular, 21.6 percent of the time is spend with other applications. And even these apps provide you information that you can also easily find on the Internet.
Many apps are redundant as most content is delivered optimized for viewing on mobile browsers like the iOS Safari browser. But would you settle for anything else than an iPad?
